788. Upper Marlboro, Prince George’s County (MD08)

I was starting to like this entire trend in courthouses. The whole colonial revival thing was working out nicely as far as I was concerned, and Prince George’s County continued that nice feeling. It was not very different from La Plata or Prince Frederick had been, but that wasn’t the important thing. What mattered was that I wasn’t running into any bland, ultra-modern buildings. I would call that victory. Besides, we were in the middle of one of the more important aims of the trip. Each of us had our own ultimate aims for the trip, and we were in the middle of Razorbackgirl‘s. She was only six counties short of completing the state of Maryland, so we were busy getting those last six counties. Of course, getting the Maryland All Counties Challenge was to be part of that, but it had to be set aside as several things over the trip would ultimately have to be.
