… the Connecticut State Capitol. I was impressed. It wasn’t as massive as Trenton, but the carvings and detail made up for that. I did not attempt to get around to the front of the structure. We realized that a lot of time had been burned over the day, and thanks to the overcast skies, we were at the leading edge of losing daylight much sooner than expected. … the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch. As fate would have it, there was an EarthCache there devoted to the various stones of Connecticut used to construct the arch. That worked out in our favor since we didn’t have an EarthCache for Connecticut yet. But as soon as we had our answers, we were off again.
