
Still another uninspired council office off the side of the road. My first thought was that if they were so budget conscious as to have such a boring building, why would they waste power leaving the lights on all night? At a minimum, they should have timers on them. Who is going to be at work there at this time of night? That wasn’t important, though. It wasn’t my money. I was just a tourist.
We all converged at a park for the cache, an incredibly simple camouflaged container that was the CO’s first hide. I was also just tired and distracted enough to, much like in Essex, forget to photograph it. We also had a confab while Godot busted out a flashlight, walked deeper into the park, and put ink on the New England Challenge. We rearranged routes and discussed our further plans for the evening. We would need a hotel, so calling began. Discussion also started over whether we would grab any more caches after our final COG. That was short, though. We had car time in which we could discuss that. We headed to a nearby fast-food place to avail ourselves of their facilities and then set off north for the final council of the day and the state…
