842. Duchesne, Duchesne County (UT02)

The courthouse equivalent shared more in common with a 1980s office park than with a courthouse.  Then again, many of the most important county offices were based out of the building.  After the questions of Vernal, I found myself wondering, but my mind was made up when I saw the drop-off point for ballots out front.  That’s one of the best signs that I was in the right place. 

Once again, I had picked up the cache on the way to Duchesne in the nearby town of Roosevelt.  I pulled up in front of an old-timey soda and candy shop, and chained to one of the exterior posts was a big old ammo can.  It was pretty hard to miss.  I cracked it open in full view of everyone. Though, in reality, there weren’t that many people muggling about.  Besides, the cache was pretty obvious, so nobody could accuse me of being suspicious.  I signed the log, left a trackable, and continued on my way.  Once I was done with all my business in Duchesne County, I took the highway through the mountains and came to a stop in…
