Finally! A proper courthouse with all the monuments and accoutrements that entails! Congratulations, Wyoming! You’re putting them back on the map!

The cache, unlike the one in Coalville, was blessedly quick to find. It was an LPC outside a boot shop. I almost lost the log as the strong breezes of Utah had become cutting winds in Wyoming, necessitating care as I applied my signature. I was in and out in fifteen minutes. It only took that long because my first cache choice turned out to be inside a closed building. I set off for a drive that would last for more than an hour and then realized that I was flagging, which was understandable. By then, I had driven around a thousand miles without significant rest. I pulled off the highway at the GZ of a cache (because, of course, a cache!) and, when I failed to find it, spent half an hour sitting, meditating, clearing the cobwebs from behind my eyes. When my eyes opened again, I felt much better. The cold and dark felt just a little less so, and I knew the sun would rise again soon, though not quite in time to meet me in…
