Soon, this year will be over. As of this writing, I have been caching for 2,758 days and am on Day 2,755 of a streak. This year, I have placed 4 hides, hosted 3 events, and found 763 caches (including 15 FTFs, 60 new counties, and 2 new states). I also attended 1 Mega-Event, and appeared by voice in a piece on Geocaching along with Bryan Roth. I also wrote 178 entries totaling over 91,000 words. Not the most I’ve ever done, but it’s still been a heck of a year!

I hope your old year ends well. I hope your new year will be even better. I hope you enjoy sparkling company, comfortable solitude, or whatever makes you feel relaxed and happy. I hope your final caches of the year are as fun and interesting as your first. And I hope you find whatever you’re seeking, whether around your neighborhood or in a far-off county, country, or continent. I’ll try to do the same. Good luck, and as hoary as the joke is, I’ll write again next year!
