Merry Chrismahanukwanzakah!

The festival of Saturnalia is upon us. It’s a time of family and friends, of warmth and comfort. And for some of us, it’s a time to geocache! And what a productive time it’s been the last few days. I’ve placed most of the caches for the big thing I’ve been thinking about for a year. I’ve got a great new one that has come to me in the last few days (I just need a decon container and a drill bit that can go through galvanized pope) and one I’ve wanted to place for a long time that I think I have a good place for. I’ve got to start planning how to wrangle people for Team Centex for the Challenge. But now? I think it’s time to take a day and recharge. There are a great many reasons to have challenges sitting around and this is a good one. I’m going to spend the day with my daughters and friends and maybe make plans for the next few days. I’ll make lists and plan routes and prepare myself for what is about to come.

I hope you all have a good time with your loved ones. I hope you can rest and relax for a few days. And I hope you find whatever you’re looking for, whether it’s cache based, present based, or more generally aspirational.

And, of course, watch this space. Things are about to be afoot…

  1. I couldn’t find any galvanized pope on Google, but I DID spot some pope fittings and even welded pope! Have a good holiday!
