A Second Year Gone By

Two years.

If you had told me when I started this that I would still be writing this two years later, I don’t think I would have believed you. Yet here we are. In fact, I’m not even current. I’ve got the next three weeks written and another three weeks worth of entries to do. And that’s not even to talk of what is coming after because I promise you I’m making another trip before the last of those publishes…

That said, 800+ caches, 163 counties (technically 165, but I haven’t been to two county seats yet), and three more states (American states. I’m not counting the four Mexican States) later, I’m still here, I’m still doing this thing we all love, and I’m still writing about it. And, even though we are living in a time of fear, consternation, and pandemic, we will not stop, and I will not stop. We shall endure and, though beset by the calamities of the present, we shall thrive. And the plans I have for the future? Such plans I have…
