119. Baird, Callahan County

Man… These towns are looking the same again. And another high school looking courthouse. I can’t quite tell if it’s because I’m on the way home and getting tired and lazy about what I’m seeing, or if it’s all just the same over and over. Truth be told, it’s probably a little from column A and a little from Column B. There’s a multi at the historic train station on the other side of town which I, in hindsight, wish I had gotten a picture of. But it had four stages and hadn’t been found since December so I wasn’t going to be doing that one.

However, falling back on my new motto, there’s always a cemetery. In the back corner of the cemetery there was a cache on the fence so that was a quick and easy grab. On the way out, I stopped to suck down a little water and plan my next move when the phone vibrated to indicate I was within 30 ft. of another cache. OK, I guess that’s a good waste of ten minutes looking for a micro in a tree. And with an unexpected two-fer complete, I got back on the road. Getting closer to home, my next stop was…
