
It’s a courthouse. There were some vaguely interesting bits, but my focus was on getting the cache so I could get home. I had driven over 2000 miles since Saturday morning (remember this is Tuesday at this point) and tunnel vision had kicked in at this point. The only thing keeping me from heading straight home was my equal tunnel vision on the courthouses and the project.

I grabbed a cache out of town dedicated to John Lomax. Already knowing of his work cataloging American blues music and his discovery of Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter, I was more than happy to claim a cache in his memory. A micro on the fence back there? I can’t even remember anymore. All I knew at this point is that when I sat down in the car, my next stop would be home.
