
Now this is a lovely courthouse. There’s a nice little architectural addition of the door from the previous courthouse, too. I’ve only seen a few courthouses do something like this, but there’s something I really like about it that I can’t put my finger one. Probably something to do with the nod to the past while looking forward to the future or some kind of crap like that. I got here just after sunset, but just in time to get the photo. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway because this one is illuminated.

I decided to take a rest here after all this driving and took in a movie at the theater on the town square. It was a controversial film, but when else was I going to get a chance to see it in a not packed theater for less than $10 on a Saturday night? Afterwards, I took a little time to have a cup of tea and recharge my laptop at the café/bar also there on the square. But it was time to get back to the job and grab a cache.

This one was a simple one, hidden between the wall and AC condenser behind a church. I was a little worried because that side shared a fence with a private residence, so I was a little frosty that that private resident might notice and react badly.
