357. Arnett, Ellis County (OK07)

Do I detect a bit of a Palladian look? I’m not sure, but it does have a certain elegance to it. Brick and whitewash and little else. A simple courthouse for a simple people. I don’t even mean that in a mocking, disparaging way, just uncomplicated, salt of the Earth, or some kind of crap like that.

There was a cache right here at the courthouse named, appropriately enough, Ellis County Memorial Wall. A keybox stuck on an appropriate piece of iron. I snagged it, signed it, and got ready to get back on my way. It occurred to me that I hadn’t eaten in quite a while and maybe I should do that.
