466. Holdenville, Hughes County (OK60)

Hmmm…  Well, at least it’s not all red brick this time.  I mean, a 70’s aesthetic with glazed tiles forming most of the exterior?  I’m not entirely sure how I would recommend this one.  I’m lying to you.  Yes, I am.  And that would be “Not Good.”  It’s so close to Seminole County, and yet this courthouse seems so much…less.  I’m sure there’s something behind all that, but I certainly don’t know what it is. 

You know what I haven’t said yet this entire trip?  There’s always a cemetery.  I decided that I didn’t want to mess with some of the local caches and a few too many were farther away than I would have liked or just enough out of the way that I didn’t want to bother.   May I say I was quite drawn by the stones here.  Never been to the grave of a world class skeet shooting champion, but I guess there’s a first time for everything.  But the cache was far less special.  A micro in a tree was waiting for me.  I did what needed to be done and made the quick-ish drive to…
