Hmmm… Well, at least it’s not all red brick this time. I mean, a 70’s aesthetic with glazed tiles forming most of the exterior? I’m not entirely sure how I would recommend this one. I’m lying to you. Yes, I am. And that would be “Not Good.” It’s so close to Seminole County, and yet this courthouse seems so much…less. I’m sure there’s something behind all that, but I certainly don’t know what it is.
You know what I haven’t said yet this entire trip? There’s always a cemetery. I decided that I didn’t want to mess with some of the local caches and a few too many were farther away than I would have liked or just enough out of the way that I didn’t want to bother. May I say I was quite drawn by the stones here. Never been to the grave of a world class skeet shooting champion, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. But the cache was far less special. A micro in a tree was waiting for me. I did what needed to be done and made the quick-ish drive to…
That courthouse is pretty hideous. It looks like a cross between a Mexican restaurant and a trailer park.

Can’t say anything about the court house it’s sad, but I’m sure it’s functional.
Love the cemetery shots.

I wish Toni Steen’s statue hadn’t been shaded. It was quite a likeness…

This one reminds me of shipping containers – Architectural Digest would not approve!

No doubt it would feature prominently in their special courthouse edition under “What not to do”… 😛
