Alright, I won’t lie… The lit trees make the entire thing charming as all get out. The predominantly central Confederate monument, though? Not so much. They put it at the front entrance, placing it to look as if the building was built around it but…

…they put the name of the building (and, consequently, the county) on the back? Seriously? Of course, I don’t actually think the building was built around the monument, but I wouldn’t be particularly surprised if it was.


The cache itself was a nano at a strip mall/business park. I signed the log (after first offering water to the county) and returned it, quickly getting moving again. The beauty of it all? I got all this done before it was even dawn! The road yielded to me until I set down feet in…
