441. El Reno, Canadian County (OK35)

OK, so remember what I said about Oklahoma having nice courthouses?  Yeah, this ain’t it.  This is the exception that proves the rule, and by “prove” I mean challenge, not confirm.  It’s not bad.  It’s just not good.  It’s a whole bunch of meh.  I had to pass back through Kingfisher for this?  Why can’t they all be like Newkirk

I don’t know who came up with the idea of putting geocaches at little free libraries, but whoever that person is, they should receive an award.  I love these things!  They’re always cute, they’re always fun, and it’s a great way to get kids into things like reading and caching and what have you.  Of course, I could spend some time ranting about gnomish hegemony over the caching world, but I don’t want to come off as a complete and total nut, do I?  And that’s all I really needed here.  It was a quick in and out of this county because the day was beginning to come to a close and I had to hit one more county before I could rest.  This time, I headed towards the traffic, knowing that I would soon be settling down for the night in…
