With the Texas Challenge over, what was I to do with myself? It was so much fun, but I had to return home and keep on keeping on. So, what did I do? That’s easy. I cached. Pictured above is the only Virtual in Austin that I hadn’t found. I decided it was a good time to go after it on a beautiful day on a lovely path (with no parking to speak of, he said dejectedly).

Sure, there were simple finds, such as this one near an old local zoo that closed before I was born …

… or others like the ones I found in Longview while visiting the girls. I was keen to avoid the cactus around the first, and the second was an unexpected FTF!

This one was a real feather in my cap. While I was gone to L-Town, many new challenges were published which I actually qualify for! One, however, dropped late Sunday afternoon not terribly far from home! For the first time ever, I got an FTF on a challenge! I have indeed found a hundred caches in a month! Heck, I’ve found well over that in a day!
My point here (and I do have one), is that we keep going. Even when the big fun is over and the great changes are done, we do what we can today and look forward to tomorrow.
