122. Fort Worth, Tarrant County

Look at the big, beautiful creature! THIS is the courthouse of a great (or at least moderately sizable) Texas city. This is one of those moments when I wish I had greater photography skills. The location was lovely, sitting across from a green space at the head of a bridge crossing the Trinity River. And, of course, it’s earlier than I usually hit a courthouse so I didn’t have the light I would have liked. But that’s alright.

And normally that would be enough, but here’s the thing: every time I go to a county, I want to talk about the cache and this one coming up was special. Not only was it a milestone, being cache 900, and coming up on my 200th entry for the site, it obviously had to be something special. And indeed, it was because I was here for a reason. My cache for Tarrant County was the one and only…

    1. I’ll tell you a secret… I’m still writing tomorrow’s post. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this close to publication without being finished. And I’m sorry I missed you, too! But I actually spent little time around the hall itself… 😦
