That said, good form, Canton! Your courthouse is a decent synthesis between the old and new courthouses. I’m sure you could have found a way to fit the new one in with the stucco better than that but it does the job and isn’t gauche. I’ll give credit though considering it’s out here in the middle of beyond nowhere (which is what the entire state of South Dakota felt like to me).
As fate would have it, there was a cache directly across the street from the courthouse. The CO said the only eyes that would see you would be the ones painted on the walls but the camera mounted above GZ that constantly reminded me that I was being recorded put the lie to that statement. Luckily, the cache was hidden in a covered spot directly under the camera where I was fairly sure it could see me; it stopped bugging me while I was searching.
