When I was in Gonzales, I intended to grab a traditional and ended up grabbing a virtual. When I got to Seguin I was going to grab a virtual and ended up pulling up to the courthouse square next to a traditional. It was a small in a tree on the square, but at least it wasn’t a little thing zip-tied in a tree. So that was gotten out of the way pretty quickly.
Some things were expected. Some things were not…
One never expects whimsy at the courthouse. Would Juan Seguin be proud of such a display?
I don’t know. Maybe, maybe not. While he would no doubt take umbrage with my photography skills, he would have been happy to sit a spell on the square, enjoy some shade, and rest a while.
